Companion Projects, StorageSpace Gallery, and SugarSpace Productions present INDIANA BEACH, a recreational vehicle installation exhibition that brings more than 60+ artists with strong ties to and love for Indiana to Indian Beach Park for the 7th edition of Satellite Art Show during Miami Art Week 2022.

Loosely curated around the former bath house and refreshment stand turned amusement park resort by the same name, INDIANA BEACH transports artists via RV from the RV capital of the world (Elkhart, IN specifically) to new and novel exhibition opportunities in Miami. The RV has long been a family-favorite way to visit new, unfamiliar locations allowing travelers to bring the comforts and concepts of home along as well. INDIANA BEACH positions the RV as both an unfamiliar site for the exhibition of small or installation-based artworks and as a vessel to explore Midwest sensibilities and their staying power in the work and perspectives of natives and visitors. What does it mean to leave home? Have we earned the right to relax? Can we ever truly let go of a place?
